Megavision

MegaVision's 4KXM is a true 4096 x 4096 image acquisition, processing, analysis, and display system. It was designed to acquire, process, analyze, and display 4096 x 4096 images.MegaVision 4KXM employs a 44.7 MHz serial display and pipeline processorto allow arithmetic, logic, and point operations to be performed onmillion pixel images in realtime -- 1/30 second. While the speed of the4KXM is adequate for realtime processing and display of million pixelimages, its architecture is such that images of virtually any size may beacquired, up to the 192 MB limitation of the image memory size. The software package that supports the 4KXM is composed of modularbuilding blocks that permit the use of all 4KXM features, and allow forthe rapid adaptation to different application packages. Software isresident on the host computer. A command- and menu-driven userenvironment, which is well-suited to users not inclined to programming,is included.
